  • shred the green shallot pieces finely lengthways set aside
  • place the beef hoisin sauce garlic and chillies in a medium bowl toss to combine and coat the steak in the sauce
  • heat oil in a wok over a high heat stir fry a third of the beef mixture for 2 minutes or until cooked through transfer to a large heatproof bowl cover and set aside repeat with remaining beef in 2 batches
  • place the lettuce leaves on a serving plate divide the beef among the lettuce leaves top with the green shallots bean sprouts and coriander leaves serve immediately
